Basic Tips and Hints for Packing Your Laptop for Repair

As it’s customers responsibility to ship Laptop to us, we ask you to pay attention to Basic Hints and Tips below to do it properly and to make sure you’ll send your machine to us safely.

• Do not send the machine in Laptop case. Always use a corrugated cardboard box. Make sure that the box is slightly bigger on all four sides of the notebook. If it’s possible, manufacturer's packaging material may be the best box to use.
• Make sure the box is not much larger than the laptop and other items included as it helps to avoid movements in transit.
• Whenever possible, wrap your notebook in bubble wrap or packaging peanuts. Do not use newspapers or magazines.
• Please make sure you packed adapter separately from your notebook.
• Use tape to secure wrapping and all around the box.
• Select a carrier that provides package tracking and insurance from the list here.

Things to include in packing:

• Your Laptop
• Power supply unit and Laptop battery
• Recovery discs (if possible)
• Do not forget to put your repair tracking number into the box
• Put your name and return address on the box

Do not forget to insure your Laptop for it’s full value.
